For Chiefs who missed the 2025 edition—running February 11 to 17—this annual Valentine’s celebration bundles three mini-events: Polar Popularity, Bloom Battle, and the Sweet Whispers Shop. For the 2026 edition, the broad strokes are expected to stay just as frosty. It is part social butterfly simulator, part monster hunt, and part wallet workout. The goal? Rack up roses, smash a rose-devouring beast, and look absolutely fabulous while doing it.

Polar Popularity: Gift-Giving with a Blizzard Twist

Polar Popularity is essentially a popularity contest with snowbanks instead of red carpets. Any Chief at Furnace Level 13 or higher can send gifts to other players within the same state. Sending a gift earns Patronage points, while receiving one earns Popularity points. It is a classic give-and-take situation—literally. Generous players become a Patron, and lucky recipients get the title of Popularity Star. Both roles can climb separate leaderboards, so no one has to choose between being a legend and being loved.

The action is local, not global. Each zone has its own Popularity and Patronage leaderboards. At the end of the event, the top 15 Chiefs on either board earn permanent city skins—yes, permanent. A Chief can strut around a snowy metropolis long after Cupid has packed up his arrows.

Gift Types and Point Values

There are four gifts in Polar Popularity, and they are not all created equal. The fancier the gift, the louder the flex.

While some Chiefs are busy playing Cupid, others prefer to beat up a monster. Bloom Battle satisfies that itch. Players at Furnace Level 12 or higher can join the fight against the Rosarion, a creature with an appetite for destruction and roses. It appears randomly in the Wilderness and sticks around all day.

Each Chief gets five daily attacks, and those attempts do not roll over. Miss a day, and those chances are gone forever—crying over spilled milk will not bring them back. Over the five-day event, that is 25 total chances to rack up damage.

The golden rule? Do not spread forces thin. A Chief should send the strongest march, wait for it to return, and then go again. Stack every buff available: pet skills, Sunfire Minister enhancements, and city bonuses for troop attack, lethality, and deployment capacity. Many players favor a heavy Marksmen build—sometimes around 96% Marksmen—with just enough Infantry to keep the damage formula from throwing a tantrum.

Points reset daily, and rewards are based on the previous day’s score. The top 300 Chiefs who score at least 10,000 points can earn Roses and Rose Bouquets, which feed directly into Polar Popularity. It is a tidy little circle of Valentine’s efficiency. There are also missions for attacking a certain number of times or dealing a set amount of damage, so even a Chief who is not topping the charts can still walk away with loot.

Sweet Whispers Shop: Chocolate, Cash, and Cosmetics

The Sweet Whispers Shop is where the event goes full capitalist. The currency is Sweet White Chocolate, and the main way to earn it is by opening the wallet—every top-up point from in-game packs becomes 1 Sweet White Chocolate. There are no tiered top-up rewards, so every purchase counts. It is straightforward, if not exactly budget-friendly.

The shop is the only source for certain exclusive cosmetics, including the Honeymoon Trip march skin and custom avatar frames. For Chiefs who want to stand out like a polar bear in a rose garden, this is the place.

The Polar Popularity Custom Chest lets a player choose between a Rose Gift Box and a Four-Leaf Clover Brooch—both 999-point mega gifts. For those chasing leaderboard glory, that chest is a no-brainer.

Valentine’s Day Packs are also chained: buying one unlocks the next. Pack 1 offers a choice between the Rose Lady or Romantic Gentleman Custom Avatar Frame, each with a +1.5% troop defense bonus.
