I have been poking around the latest site update for the past few days, and I will be honest: it feels like the whole place finally woke up, stretched, and decided to make everything easier. Member cards now follow you everywhere, search has stopped playing dumb, Sidequest has its own home, and PRO platinum no longer trickles in like a leaky faucet. As we move through 2026, this is the kind of quality-of-life patch that makes me want to click every username just to see what happens.

Member Cards That Actually Feel Personal
Hover over any username, or tap it on your phone, and you get a full member card. I mean the good stuff: avatar with its border and pin, level and badges, title, Sidequest class, join date, Bestiary progress, and even the boss kill rings on their trophy shelf. It is like a tiny profile museum, and I cannot stop opening them. 😄
Member cards work everywhere a name shows up: comments, threads, articles, guides, decks, and the member list. Avatar borders now show on the member list too, which makes browsing feel less like reading a spreadsheet and more like walking through a gallery. Every username has a story now, and the site finally lets you read it.
Search Finally Listens to Me
Search used to be the friend who nods and then brings you the wrong sandwich. Not anymore. An exact name now comes first, then results that match every word, before looser matches. If I type a full username, I can find that member directly. Partial names still show members, but they sit at the bottom where they belong.
Search also finds Sidequest items, creatures, bosses, and seasons. That is a huge win for anyone who spends more time hunting lore than doing actual work. I tested a few obscure creature names, and the results felt sharp, not fuzzy. It is the kind of improvement you do not notice until you go back to an old site and immediately miss it.
Sidequest Gets Its Own Game Page
Sidequest now has its own game page, complete with screenshots and everything it has to offer. I have been waiting for this. It is one thing to read about items and bosses in a list; it is another to see the world presented like a real game. The page makes it easy to show friends why I keep disappearing into Bestiary progress and gear sets.
Game pages also have a new Our Reviews section on the Reviews tab, above Member Reviews. When the team has written its own review of a game, that is where it lives. I like this because it separates official thoughts from community chaos, and both have their place. YouTube videos in deck guides now correctly embed, too, which means deck builders can finally share their combos without broken boxes.
Links to Sidequest items, creatures, and bosses now show proper previews on Discord and social media. Sidequest tooltips also work on links all over the site, and gear sets now store their gear. Small things? Maybe. But they add up to a world that feels connected instead of stitched together.
PRO Platinum: No More Drip-Feed
This is the part that made me sit up. PRO now gives you all of its Platinum up front when you buy it, instead of a little every day. That means no more logging in to collect crumbs. You get the full amount immediately.
Here is the breakdown:
| Tier | Upfront Platinum | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| PRO | 400 for 12 months, 200 for 6 months | 1x |
| PRO GOLD | 1,200 for 12 months, 600 for 6 months | 3x |
| PRO PLATINUM | 2,800 for 12 months, 1,400 for 6 months | 7x |
Members who already had PRO were paid all at once, the Platinum still owed for their remaining days. That is a classy move. The team also increased the total amount of Platinum compared with the old over-time grants, and they chose nice even numbers. As someone who hates doing math while gaming, I appreciate that more than I can say. No more drip-feed, no more spreadsheet energy.
Discord Bot Learns New Tricks
Our Discord bot has new /item, /creature, and /boss commands for Sidequest. If you are in a server and someone mentions a monster, you can now pull up the details without leaving the chat. The bot has learned a few new tricks, and honestly, it is becoming the most helpful member of the server. Links to Sidequest items, creatures, and bosses also preview properly on Discord and social media, so sharing is finally painless.
Mother Spindle and the Road Ahead
Mother Spindle arrives on October 14, 2026. I am already clearing my calendar, because that name alone sounds like a boss that will ruin my afternoon in the best way. Fallen bosses now leave remains you can rummage through, which adds a lovely bit of scavenging to every victory. Sidequest tooltips work on links all over the site, and gear sets now store their gear. The full Sidequest update is available in the Sidequest realm if you want every detail.
I will be honest: this update makes the whole ecosystem feel more alive. Whether you are a comment lurker, a deck builder, a Bestiary completionist, or someone who just wants to hover over usernames and judge avatar borders, there is something here for you. 2026 is shaping up to be a busy year, and I am here for it. See you on October 14.
